Welcome to this short course which was created to be offered as a Christmas gift to our friends and we are also happy if you share it with your family and friends!
We know that Christmas time and end of the year can be a time of bliss, but it can be also a time of grief, a challenging time for many families. A time when it is not always easy to stay with what is, a time when mindfulness can be an amplifier for joy and a pacifier for challenging emotions.
Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us. While mindfulness is innate, it can be cultivated through proven techniques, particularly seated, walking, standing, and moving meditation. Also through short pauses we insert into everyday life.
Mindfulness gives us a time in our lives when we can stop judgment and unleash our natural curiosity about the workings of the mind, approaching our experience with openness, compassion and kindness.
We invite you in this course to experience 3 types of meditations and 5 types of breathing practices.
